As wheelchair accessible vehicles are a specialist market not all insurance companies will insure them so for our customer's peace of mind we have a relationship with a mobility insurance company who specialise in insuring wheelchair adapted vehicles and will provide an adapted courtesy car in the event of an accident as standard on all their policies.
Not all wheelchair users qualify for the motability scheme so may find it difficult to fund the purchase of an adapted vehicle, as conventional car finance company's do not recognise or understand wheelchair accessible vehicles, so again we have a relationship with a finance company called Southern wheelchair adapted vehicle finance who are the market leader in funding the purchase of adapted vehicles. They treat each application on an individual basis and will take into account DLA, incapacity benefit, pensions Etc as proof of income so the application can be approved even if the applicant is not in employment.
Also here at grange garage we have our own workshop facility so we are able to carry out all aspects of servicing and repairs to all the wheelchair accessible vehicles we sell.
